Nice little loop for just one sitting! ;)

ThePal responds:

Thanks! ^^

I'm not judging you.... but yup... I'm not judging you I swear!

ThePal responds:

*glares at you mischievously*

Oh look it's the 4 chord structure!! "Journey" much?
"Don't Stop Believing" ...etc

Haha

Just messing with you. Nice use of Arpeggio and FX at 1:11!

The song is very upbeat and floaty! I found that little 'minor' tidbit you did at 2:36 was really cool! Do more of those!

A slight arpeggio going on 3 minutes in, moving towards a change of flow, but nonetheless keeping the same upbeat 4 chord structure throughout the piece. Really well done!

If anything, more variety in key would be nice, which is probably why I really liked that spot at 2:36. It tarried a bit away from the 4 chord structure.

Sleepycoaster responds:

Thanks! I'll study up on more chord substitutions.

I'm still here Jovis! I never did get very far in Illusion of Gaia, so I can't honestly remember the song Sky Garden, but judging from what you have here, it's a brilliant song!

So let me just say well done on the cover. Keep up the good work!

SourJovis responds:

Oh hey GamekrazzyProduction. Been a while. This song is from the fourth stage (the second important stage). There are 11 or 12 stages. So it's from early on in the game, but the game starts of very slowly. It takes a while to get here but after this point the game picks up the pace. Thanks for listening. I'm glad you like it.

Happy and upbeat!

The song keeps it's pacing throughout the piece, and certainly invokes the feeling of racing to the finish. The bridge sounds really good, and keeps the listener entertained.

I did notice that with the bridge you used a very common concept of repeating phrases.... don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, in fact it sounded great! I'm just pointing out that I noticed it.

5/5 Friend! I wouldn't mind hearing more from you in the future!

Wolfrain64 responds:

Thank you very much! I'll keep on improving.

That was an entertaining 36 seconds. Haha!

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

Thanks :)

Funny I find you through the Art Forum... Saw your title was musician, so I decided to check out your music, and I'm glad I did. This song is so peaceful and happy. This song made me feel happy. I really like the overall ambiance and natural sound this has. Great work!

Troisnyx responds:

Eeee, thank you! ^_^ I'm really glad you enjoyed this song.
And, ehehehehe... I hang out on the Art Forums from time to time, though I probably wouldn't call myself a fully-fledged artist.

Triumphant, but sad. A brilliant piece of music Mr. Smartpoetic! I love the blend and feel of the piece, however I did feel that around the mid-section there was too much going on, and some of the better parts were muddied out, so it's not perfect per say, but still, this was a wonderful arrangement.

Anyways, overall I loved it, and I would love to hear more from you! ;)

SuperTonic64 responds:

Hey Gamekrazzy,

Thanks for the review! I appreciate your insight about the muddiness in the middle section. Did you mean specifically the section with the flute, or just before it? I'll take another look at it and see if I can clean it up a bit. Right now, I'm working on an arrangement from Skyward Sword in the coming weeks, and I'll post it whenever it's done. :D

Thanks again for your review! :)

Ceevro, this concept is pretty brilliant... You and Step are doing a wonderful job with all these singalongs. Plus "Africa" is an awesome song. I might have to help and jump on the bandwagon this time, as this sounds fun. :P

Ceevro responds:

DO! People jump in and out, like a normal campfire singalong, and it's always interesting to see who's going to bring what to the table!

So I found this because I really like Step's works... Just gonna say you guys did a wonderful job on this piece, It's nice to see such a broad collaboration of work!

Ceevro responds:

I know, I really like Step's work as well! Thanks for reviewing!

I am creative and love to draw, cartoon, write music, animate... I believe that with enough work Newgrounds will come to see that I have what it takes to be what I believe I can be. Thank You Newgrounds.
