neat intro.

where did you come up with the name? lol. The sirens in the beginning give off that setting beat, and i love the gunshot :D You seem to like to hit hard in your music here. Considering that quote"we are gonna explode!!!" it fits perfectly, but why give away the concept right away. Anyways, good song. 10/10

lol, Mario Paint Composer works real well.

I can hear the bowser. LOL. I have to say it sounds like a song you would find in "Megaman" or something like that. Reall good with your movements. I work with MPC for my music as well, given though there not as epic with this, because they are loops. lol. Keep it up. It was really good for being made in MPC.

dang, I love it!

Definately a piece with alot of heart and work put into it. What I really like about it is that it never is truly the same beat, which is something I personally love in music. If anything maybe try some dynamics. It is an awsome kinda techno dance music. At around 2:05 maybe you could lower the volume a little, because everything here seems to be the same volume, and I know that would be a good place to kindof change it up more. Its not all about melodies, harmonies, chords, bass, and drums. You need expression. Give it a go. Keep it up. Im looking forward to more music from you.

Melody????

Your Melody needs to com in sooner, because the beat gets annoying at the beginning. I like how you do use Dynamics and came in on the melody, and how it goes to a softer sound then back. It is very neat, but yeah. I would say that it just needs more at the beginning. I noticed you also dont sway from the main beat. Which is ok, but try being a bit more creative. I like it, but I feel it can be much better. 8/10.

Thank you for the tip, I will look up to it. And thank you for your vote and review!

Epic Battle Music!!!

I can see what your saying about it being destroyer of worlds, but i only get the picture because your telling me of it. If you want your song to really emphasise such, you need to use your dynamics in a way that would show such. Your song needs to go somewhere. So I'd start off at a piano or Metsopiano. Crescendo towards a fortissimo, and I love your fade at the end showing that he is leaving. Great Job. Keep it up!

ShiverMeSideways responds:

Thanks for the suggestions and kind words! Well, to be honest, I've never gotten the same image twice when I pass my music along to other people, so everyone is entitled to their own opinion and interpretation of a song. I guess it's hard when you listen to an instrumental piece to actually know what the author was thinking, and I must admit that I do leave in quite a bit of "mystery", so to speak. :)

wow.

You must have spent alot of time on this, the beginning with the bass seems to relax me, and as the parts just come in. This is truly an amazing work. And to let you know the bass is not annoying unless overused, but you almost perfectly fit it in. 2nd bass part is too loud though. Chord structures near the end almost sum everything up, and I like that. Your song seems to give a climax and I am impressed. All I can say is wow. You deserve cookies for this. :D

ThePal responds:

Thanks alot. :P
And with the bass in the start, it's just when i hear it makes this noise. So i'm thinking if the people hears it too.
And thanks for the feedback on the 2nd bass part, i'll reduce the volume.
Many thanks for the feedback! :D

hmmm classic funk

Your parts come in measure after measure, but there really isn't much to this piece, you dont change from your basic beat you have throughout the whole song. though it is kindof catchy. The only thing your missing is it needs more to it, and some of it taken away. I would create some sort of verse and have this be the chorus or refrain part. 9/10

lol. Love when other game sounds are played.

Lol, you took sounds from other games to make this. Im guessing the sounds are from Megaman right. Awsome. It really does seem like a ness version for KDH. Nice job. What program did you make this in?

NaotoNekoCutie responds:

I sampled sounds from an NES chip.

You were close though. =)

I use a few programs to make tunes, but I favor Renoise.

Your in the right direction.

Your song gives a sense of royalty, all it needs now is Distinguishable dynamics and a change in motion. I can tell it is slowly crescendoing, but maybe a little more chaos. In other words because your telling a story about a chess game right, maybe you should have a climax and maybe a suspenseful part in it. I felt that the whole entire song had the same mood to it. All in all, you did a great job. A lot of effort must have been put into this. Finish it up. I cant wait to see the finished product!

BloodyN00b responds:

Thanks for the review! I think that you just pinpointed what I need to improve on in general when I make music =P
I will do my best with it, and what I do from here on will certainly be heavily influenced by what you have said. I will try to add a climax and a suspenseful part or something similar. Don't expect any wonders anytime soon, but it's good to hear that I'm taking it to the right direction :)

Pretty neat.

Love how the bass puts it all together. It actually kinda reminds me of a song you would find on a FF game or Kingdom Hearts. lol. Everything seems to fit in this one, though in something like this, maybe slowing it down a little bit, and keep the bass at a piano for Dynamics. Otherwise great peice.

cRAVE01 responds:

ya know, half the tempo on this to about 80 and it sounds like an alt for Beloved from KH. I am gonna have to put that up.

I am creative and love to draw, cartoon, write music, animate... I believe that with enough work Newgrounds will come to see that I have what it takes to be what I believe I can be. Thank You Newgrounds.
