wow! Nice song. It has a nice beat. Im enjoying the little hip hop feel to it. I also enjoy how it feels so retro too. Must be the synth. XP Some interesting breaks going on in this song. I also got a feeling you like bass.

Anyways, I enjoyed the song, and honestly don't have much to say about how it could improve. Definately a 5 in my book!

As awesome as always Aztech... I haven't been on much, but I noticed you had a song up, so I figured I'd give it a review.

I love the rhythm this song has. It's FUGGIN' SWEET!!!! Beep bop beep boop! lol that's what I hear. Amazing song... looking forward to this album you are doing.

Kreyowitz responds:

Nice to hear from you again! And yes, Beep Boop indeed, The album will have lot's of beep boops.

I'll have another song up shortly actually, so check that out when you get the chance!

Well gee this is new, (I'm not used to you doing video game remixes). Fairly simple remix overall. Not much changed in it, although the rhythm is nice.... You could have been a bit more creative on this one. 4.5 stars.

ThePal responds:

You're totally right that I could've been more creative on this one.

The reason why I didn't let it change much is because I really wanted to keep it simple, like the soundtracks you would hear on an actual soundtrack record, or on Youtube. And to be honest, sometimes I just find simple best.

Thanks for your concerns though.. :)

First thing's first... use tags so it will get noticed after it goes through the latest songs list....

The song can be kinda repetetive at points like for instance the string like instrument is just going on and on for way to long. Try to add more variety and flavor. I swear I heard the same thing for more then half the song. 1:48 was nice, bring that in sooner maybe? Again get away from doing that over and over.... it keeps the listener from listening to the rest of the song. They don't want to hear that part over and over. other then that. good job so far. 3/5. Loved the drop at the end btw.

Treeez responds:

Thanks for the review! I'll try to keep that advice in mind on future tracks. i have to admit this song did get repetitive at some points, haha. thanks for listening through it

Great job... Can't find the music video though. It's actually kinda funny. Funny lyrics + good mixing = a pretty good song. Didn't really like the tube Reverb being used in this though.... Try to avoid that... please. Still wonderful. Had a few laughs! 5/5

It's not as good as the original.... IMO some songs shouldn't be remixed... but I like this song so yeah. good job. That's not to say you didn't do a good job at remixing. It just doesn't do the original justice sorry. Still good job. 5/5

Again just the type of music I love to hear. I'm a big person for classical music, but I hardly understand a thing about the forms with the letters and all. lol. Anyways I might just have to fav you as an author!

BlazingDragon responds:

Even without knowing all the technical stuff, I think people can enjoy classical music for how deep and emotionally complex it often is. :) Thanks you!

Such a beautiful piece of music to tell such a sweet sad but true tale... Your story makes me think of the beginning intro of a video game where this girl is some key player in it. It makes me feel like there is more. Now... to the music... This piece is so quiet and Melancholy it lulls the listener into a dream world. It wants to pull out all those troubles that we as humans tend to hold on to and can't let go.

Anyways this song has struck my heart, as most Songs that fit this quiet and Melancholy catagory do. What more could I say? This song I will be sure to add to my favorites and Now you got a new listener. I am going to see what else it is you have for me hear.

BlazingDragon responds:

I didn't write the story of the little girl until last night, long after I composed this piece. When creating the music I felt a strong sense of melancholy and naturally channeled that into music. This brings to point two things that I have found:

1) Listeners can often tell when a composer felt emotion as he composed. The music resonates in an organic way that is indescribable.
2) Listeners usually like to have a story to associate with music. It gives them a tangible mental picture to help interpret the emotions of a piece. It seems like most of my popular pieces have stories to go along with them, even if I wrote the story after the fact.

Your comment about the video game intro actually reminded me of the original Final Fantasy Tactics. If memory serves, it opens with a girl praying in a church during war times. Slightly ironic, heh. :)

Thank you very much for your review. :)

I like it, very mellow and flowing... but some parts are meh as far as my tastes go. still nothing bad to say about it. 10/10

ThePal responds:

Well, it IS downtempo, though Newgrounds didn't have that for a genre, so I just choosed Trance because that was what was right beside it.
Also, I can believe that you can say it's kinda "meh", maybe because it is so repetitive. But I don't think I'm gonna edit that. Thanks for the review though! :)

I am creative and love to draw, cartoon, write music, animate... I believe that with enough work Newgrounds will come to see that I have what it takes to be what I believe I can be. Thank You Newgrounds.
