So I found this because I really like Step's works... Just gonna say you guys did a wonderful job on this piece, It's nice to see such a broad collaboration of work!

Ceevro responds:

I know, I really like Step's work as well! Thanks for reviewing!

I don't know what I'm listening to yo.... But it is one of the most interesting things I have heard today.

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

haha, cheers game krazzy :)

Long time no see Waterflame... sorry I've been fairly inactive as of late.

Digging this tune btw. It's always moving and energy is off the charts. It would fit a beat em up style game really well.

All the bridges between parts are done really well, and the arpeggios at the end are a nice touch. The ending was a bit weird but it made me smile, so yeah. GOOD JOB!

Waterflame responds:

Thank you! :D

Hey man! I haven't been very active as of late... Saw this and thought I'd check it out!

Awesome song! Flows nicely! No problems with the mixing! Kept me entertained the entire time!

8-bitheroes responds:

Welcome back man, thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it :)

Hey Teo, long time no review from me eh?

I looked it up by the way, and the reason this chord progression sounds so familiar, is because it's the I-V-vi-IV progression.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia,

"The I–V–vi–IV progression is a common chord progression popular across several genres of music. It involves the I, V, vi, and IV chords; for example, in the key of C major, this would be: C–G–Am–F.[1]

The V is often replaced by iii ("Price Tag"), III ("If We Ever Meet Again" chorus), ii ("Halo"), I ("Doesn't Mean Anything"), II ("Try Too Hard" by P!nk), IV ("I Gotta Feeling").

A 2009 recording by the comedy group The Axis of Awesome, their "Four-Chord Song", in D major (thus using the chords D major, A major, B minor, and G major), is a widely viewed clip on YouTube.[2]"

Great job on the song, does justice to your name as it is quite tasteful. I especially like your use of the repeat in the higher octave about 2 minutes in. Anyways, good to hear another song of yours, and sorry I have not been reviewing your works as much... been really busy.

TastyTeo responds:

Thanks, that high pitched part is my favorite too :D

Great to see another amazing piece from you. Recognized your username and saw you got front paged so I thought I'd check it out!

I really like this improv piece. Very fluid and a nice piece to listen to. I really don't have much else to say about it though, as you said it's just improv and no mastering or anything was done, so I feel that the necessity of pointers as far as that goes would be pointless. Anyways, overall, this piece has a lovely sound. I am digging this piano sound "The Giant" you are using. Great job overall, hope to hear more from you.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks so much for checking out my piece and for not knocking me points due to a lack of mixing and mastering. I appreciate your understanding about that. :)

This is really cool. I like the synth, and your effects. The quality of the singing is quite good, however the intonation of the singing could be improved. At parts like the main lyrics, it sounds like some words are being meshed together and can be hard to understand.

Anyways, great job overall. A great song, and fairly accurate too!

Thats some funky vibes you got going there Jovis!

The theme fits well with the story. Also I really enjoy the melody line, although IMO it fits a video game better then a movie.

I really think you did a great job on this piece. I hear no flaws, and enjoyed listening to it.

SourJovis responds:

Thank you. I think it would work either as opening theme for a tv show, or as opening or first stage for a game. I don't know what would work best. Depends on the game or show.

This is really good! The constant flow and energy beaming through this piece...
I honestly am in awe whenever I hear an orchestrated piece. Alot of that is due to the fact I have absolutely no experience there, and it is very different to what I do.,

Having played piano, and sang choir, though I do have a good history in music.

So no on to the rest of the review. I really like the dynamics and motions you gave this piece. I may not have much experience in orchestration, but I at least know that it should tell a story. And this story you are telling is by far the most cliche heroic tale ever! Ha!

Anyways really enjoyed the piece. I'd love to give pointers and advice like a great reviewer would, but alas I cannot when you obviously have a better understanding of Orchestration then myself. Kudos!

I look forward to your future pieces!

I don't know how to review this MockOff.
It's a really weird Ambiance... And I like the melody line you put in it. I was afraid I was going to be listening to the pads the entire time... Interesting harmonies at 2:00.
Overall it's hard to review an experimental piece, so 5/5 stars!

It was actually kinda relaxing... in a weird sort of way.

I am creative and love to draw, cartoon, write music, animate... I believe that with enough work Newgrounds will come to see that I have what it takes to be what I believe I can be. Thank You Newgrounds.
